Financially Supporting our Retirees
PASBF is most known for funding the Retired Health Insurance Plan for qualified retired clergy, spouses, and surviving spouses. Currently, PASBF contributes $1.5 million each year to purchase the Medicare Supplement. Premiums are charged to those fully vested the following amounts:
Retired Clergy: $35/month Spouses & Surviving Spouses: $70/month
There are no Co-Pays or Deductibles to the participants in plan.
Participants need to purchase their own individual Medicare Part D Plans. PASBF offers a Part D Benefit for those who enter the “donut hole” or who have expensive prescription medications. See Medicare Part D Benefit tab for more information on enrolling and for the Benefit.
